I’m a senior at Princess Margaret Secondary in Surrey, British Columbia. My interests range from technology to entrepreneurship. Athletically involved with soccer for 9 consecutive years. With current leadership opportunities such as being part of the Surrey Leadership Youth Council and also co-founding/running my own charity organization; CareRocket Org. Being a dynamic person is important to me, I strive to get out of my comfort zone to increase opportunities and experiences.

Tell me some information about yourself?

My name is Sukhdeep Chopra, I attend Princess Margaret Secondary School, and am interested in the future career option in the Engineering field, specifically the Civil or Mechanical Engineering. I enjoy mathematics and science. I also play soccer in fact, I play on a soccer team outside of school too. I also enjoy playing around with technology, in the past, I have built small robots that can achieve certain tasks such as following a black line, place blocks, etc. 

What are you hoping to learn or accomplish in this class?

I hope to learn about the business plan structure, how to save money, but on the other hand, make money too. Archive these goals will help me grow a better understanding of business and marketing. I can also make improvements to a small organization my friends and I have founded; which I cannot talk more about this at the moment. With the skills I can learn for marketing, I can apply those skills and techniques to the previously mentioned organization.

What is the current business that you would be interested in learning about? Why?

I am interested in learning about how non-profit organizations work and how these organizations find funding to market their services.
